How to remit money from Mainland China to WeLab Bank

All you need to do is to initiate a cross border remittance on your Mainland China Mobile Banking APP or the banking website. There are 4 steps in the procedure:

Foreign Exchange: Convert RMB to HKD

Select “Foreign Exchange Purchase” on your Mainland Bank’s APP and convert RMB to HKD

Fill in Information

After reading and agreeing to the application for purchase of the foreign exchange, fill in the information of the purchase, which usually includes the currency, amount and purpose of the purchase, and choose to purchase in cash or banknotes. Click Confirm to complete the purchase.

Generally, consistency of remittance purpose throughout the steps is essential for a smooth remittance experience to avoid delay or rejection of remittance.

Fill in the payee information here with information about WeLab Bank. Note that the information should be in English and the payee's name should be typed in all capital letters.
