If I use the WeLab Global Wallet Debit Card for overseas shopping, will there be any foreign currency transaction fees?
It depends on the transaction currency. Overseas transaction handling feewaiver is only applicable for the eligible 11 currencies, including Hong Kong Dollar, Japanese Yen, US Dollar, Renminbi, Australian Dollar, Sterling Pound, Euro, Singapore Dollar, Canadian Dollar and New Zealand Dollar. For non-supported currencies, the transaction amount will be converted to HKD based on the daily exchange rate at the time of the transaction with a handling fee of 1.95% of the transaction amount.
