When is the promotion period of "Food & Ride Rewards"? How is it defined?
The promotion runs from 27 April 2026 to 31 May 2026, both dates inclusive. Eligible transactions must be successfully posted to the core account within 7 calendar days from the transaction date. All qualifying transactions must be made during the promotion period and fall under the eligible categories: 1) Food delivery platforms and 2) Ride-hailing platforms.
If I pay a membership fee on the platform, does it count?
Yes. It will be counted as one eligible transaction.
When will I receive the cashback?
The cashback will be credited to the eligible cardholder’s core account on or before 15 June 2026. The eligible debit card and bank account must remain valid and in good standing during the promotion period and at the time the cashback is credited.
Is there a cap on the cashback?
Yes. Each eligible transaction must be at least HKD 100. Only the first 10 transactions made during the promotion period will be counted, and they are calculated separately for each category.
How is an eligible transaction payment on food delivery platforms and ride‑hailing platforms defined?
Any local food delivery or ride-hailing app qualifies, as long as you pay by linking your WeLab Global Wallet Debit Card in the app or by paying directly with the card.
If my card is already added to Apple Pay, and I use Apple Pay on the food delivery platform, does it still count?
Yes. It will be counted as an eligible transaction.
