Hong Kong, 26 June 2025 – WeLab Bank (“the Bank”) would like to alert our customers and the general public of the suspicious website (hxxp://welab.holdings) impersonating WeLab Bank and its parent company, WeLab.


Please note that WeLab and WeLab Bank have no connection to the suspicious website and its associated social media accounts (hxxp://www.linkedin.com/company/welab-holdings ; hxxp://x.com/welabholdings). We have reported the matter to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Police.


Customers are reminded to visit the official websites of WeLab and the Bank at https://www.welab.co/en and https://www.welab.bank/en/ and ensure they are connected to the Bank’s valid mobile app (WeLab Bank mobile app) through App Store and Google Play only. Do not click on any suspicious hyperlinks and stay vigilant against SMS from unfamiliar senders and bogus websites.


If customers are concerned that they may have disclosed their personal information or have conducted any transactions through such channel, please report to the Police or the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force.
