1. The promotion period is valid from 21 June 2021 to 31 July 2021 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).

2. All the rewards and offers under this Promotion is only applicable to customers (“you” or “your”) who:

(i) have successfully opened a bank account at WeLab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “our” or “us”) using the referral code “KMB250” within the Promotion Period; and

(ii) have not terminated and/or closed your WeLab Bank account in the twelve (12) months prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period.

3. An account opening is deemed to be successful only upon receiving a confirmation email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account opening request is approved and the account is set up.

4. You may only use one (1) referral code when opening a WeLab Bank account, and you will only be entitled to the offer(s) and/or reward(s) which corresponds with the referral code used. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other referral programmes which means if you have input any other referral codes when you apply for your WeLab Bank account, then you are not entitled to the offer (s) and/or reward(s) under this Promotion.

5. You will only be entitled to each of the offer or reward under this Promotion once.

Account Opening Reward

6. You will be entitled to an account opening reward of HKD 200 (“Account Opening Reward”) upon receiving the confirmation email of the approval of the account opening from WeLab Bank. The Account Opening Reward will be credited into your WeLab Bank Core Account, which will be indicated as “Account Opening Reward” in the WeLab Bank app when the reward has been credited.

HKD 50 Supermarket Gift Coupon

7. If you (i) successfully open a WeLab Bank account using the referral code “KMB250” at our designated booth in person or (ii) demonstrate at our designated booth in person that you have successfully opened a WeLab Bank account using the referral code “KMB250”, you will be entitled to receive one (1) HKD 50 supermarket gift coupon (“Gift Coupon”) at our designated booth.

8. To verify your entitlement to the Gift Coupon, we may ask you to provide your latest email address and HKID name registered with us for verification propose. For any collection and use of your personal data through this Promotion, please refer to WeLab Bank’s Personal Information Collection Statement (https://www.welab.bank/en/legal/privacy-policy/).

9. The Gift Coupons are available on a first-come-first-served basis and while stocks last. Gift Coupon will not be re-issued in case of loss or damage.

10. We are not the merchant issuing the Gift Coupons (the “Issuing Merchant”) and the use of the Gift Coupons is subject to terms and conditions specified by the Issuing Merchant. We give no guarantee to the Gift Coupons or the quality of or any other matters relating to the goods, food, products and the services provided by the Issuing Merchant, or do not accept any liability arising in conjunction with the use of the Gift Coupons or the quality of or any other matters relating to the goods, food, products and the services provided by the Issuing Merchant. Any enquires or disputes regarding the use of the Gift Coupons should be directed to the Issuing Merchant.

Welcoming Reward

11. If you (i) have logged in to your WeLab Bank app at least once within 1 month from the account opening date and (ii) accomplish ANY one of the below designated tasks within 1 month from the account opening, you will be entitled to a HKD 50 welcoming reward (“Welcoming Reward”):

Task 1: Successfully joined GoSave Time Deposit once (with at least HKD 10 deposit amount); or

Task 2: Successfully carrying out one transaction with WeLab Debit Card (no limitation on the category and amount of the transaction).

12. If you have satisfied with the conditions set out in Clause 11 above, the Welcoming Reward amount will be credited into your WeLab Bank Core Account within 10 working days from the 1st day of the next calendar month.

13. You agree that you are not entitled to the Welcoming Reward if you close your Core Account at any time before the Welcoming Reward amount is credited to your Core Account.

Go-Flexi Cash Rebate

14. If you successfully apply for and draws down a loan under GoFlexi Personal Instalment Loan Terms and Conditions (“Loan”) within 1 month from the account opening date, upon successful disbursement of your Loan into your Core Account, you will be entitled to a cash rebate of HKD 500 (“Go-Flexi Cash Rebate”).

15. The Go-Flexi Cash Rebate amount will be credited into your WeLab Bank Core Account within 15 working days from the date of disbursement.

16. You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive the Go-Flexi Cash Rebate if you close your Core Account at any time or repay the Loan before the Go-Flexi Cash Rebate amount is credited into your Core Account. In the event that you repay the outstanding Loan in full prior to the Loan’s final repayment date, we reserve the right to debit the Go-Flexi Cash Rebate directly from your Account (including but not limited to your Go-Flexi Core Account) without prior notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

17. For the avoidance of doubt, the Go-Flexi Cash Rebate under this Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with our “GoFlexi Cash Rebate Offer”.

General

18. The Account Opening Reward, Gift Coupon, Welcoming Reward and Go-Flexi Cash Rebate (if applicable) cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged or converted into other forms, unless otherwise specified by us.

19. Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in this Promotion and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account with us. We shall not credit or distribute any rebate, reward or gift coupon under this Promotion or where any rebate, reward or gift coupon under this Promotion has been credited or distributed to you, we reserve the right to debit the value of such rebate, reward or gift coupon under this Promotion from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

20. We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Promotion and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of dispute, our decision shall be final, conclusive and binding.

21. These terms and conditions shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”), the GoFlexi Personal Instalment Loan Terms and Conditions and the GoSave Time Deposit Terms and Conditions. In the event of inconsistency between these terms and conditions, the Account Terms, the GoFlexi Personal Instalment Loan Terms and Conditions and the GoSave Time Deposit Terms and Conditions, the prevailing order shall be as follows:

(a) these terms and conditions;

(b) the GoSave Time Deposit Terms and Conditions (for Clauses 11-13 regarding the Welcoming Reward) or the GoFlexi Personal Instalment Loan Terms and Conditions (for Clauses 14-17 regarding Go-Flexi Cash Rebate); and

(c) the Account Terms.

22. Terms defined in our Account Terms, the GoFlexi Personal Instalment Loan Terms and/or the GoSave Terms and Conditions and Conditions shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.

23. This Promotion is solely organised by WeLab Bank.

24. In the event of inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
