The COFFEE ACADEMICS HK$150 Cash Voucher Promotion Terms and Conditions
When is the Promotion Period
1. The COFFEE ACADEMICS HK$150 Cash Voucher Promotion (“Promotion”) shall be valid from 17 October 2020 to 31 December 2020 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”), unless otherwise specified by us.
Who can participate in the Promotion
2. The Promotion is only applicable to new customers (“you” or “your”) who have either:
a) successfully opened a WeLab Bank account at WeLab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”); or
b) submitted a WeLab Bank account application
within the Promotion Period using the referral code as indicated in Clause 7 and Clause 12. Eligible evidence for submitting a WeLab Bank account application is outlined in Appendix A.
3. An account opening is deemed to be successful only upon receiving a confirmation email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account is set up (“Confirmation Email”).
4. An account application submission is deemed to be successful only upon:
a) being redirected to a screen in the WeLab Bank app with moving orange bars which indicates that your account is being prepared (“Successful Submission Screen”) (please refer to Appendix A); or
b) receiving a confirmation email or SMS message from WeLab Bank indicating that the account opening request is approved and the account is set up. You must have received the aforementioned confirmation email or SMS message before you settle your bill at The COFFEE ACADEMICS’ physical store (“Eligible Confirmation Notification”) (please refer to Appendix A).
5. During the Promotion Period, you will either be entitled to a HK$150 Cash Voucher or a HK$150 Instant Discount subject to its equivalent terms and conditions defined in the section below.
Terms and Conditions for the HK$150 Cash Voucher
6. Upon receiving the Eligible Confirmation Notification, you will receive The COFFEE ACADEMICS cash voucher valued at HK$150 through email (“Cash Voucher”) within 7 working days. The email will contain a QR code or a 16-digit redemption code. You can use your Cash Voucher either by presenting the QR code upon making the purchase at The COFFEE ACADEMICS physical shop or inputting the redemption code at The COFFEE ACADEMICS E-shop.

7. The Cash Voucher will be provided only to customers who successfully open a WeLab Bank account using the referral codes “CBDMDU” or “CBI1NZ” on or before 30 November 2020.
8. The Cash Voucher can be used at The COFFEE ACADEMICS physical store and E-shop before the expiry date indicated in the email message.
9. The Cash Voucher can be used once and in one single transaction only.
10. The remaining balance will be forfeited if the transaction amount is less than the Cash Voucher value.
Terms and Conditions for the HK$150 Instant Discount
11. Upon presenting the Successful Submission Screen or Eligible Confirmation Notification to a staff member of The COFFEE ACADEMICS, you are entitled to an instant HK$150 discount for a transaction at The COFFEE ACADEMICS’ physical locations (“Instant Discount”).
12. The Instant Discount will be provided only to customers who successfully submit a WeLab Bank account application using the referral codes “CDFSH4”, “CDK7R9”, “CDOM1E”, “CDU1BJ”, “CDZGLP”, “CD4VVT”, “CD9A5Y”, “CDEOF4”, “CDJ4O9”, “CDPJZE”, “CDTY9J”, “CDYDJP”, “CD3STT”, “CD873Y”, “CDDMD4”, “CDAD7Z”, or “CDI1N9” within the Promotion Period.
13. To qualify for the Instant Discount, each person must spend a minimum of HK$150 at The COFFEE ACADEMICS.
14. The Instant Discount can be used once and in one single transaction only.
General Terms and Conditions you should know about
15. The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other offers and promotions in The COFFEE ACADEMICS stores, except the “WeLab Debit Card 1% Base Rebate Offer” and other promotions offered between WeLab Bank and The COFFEE ACADEMICS.
16. All products are directly sold and supplied to you by The COFFEE ACADEMICS and may be subjected to their terms and conditions. The COFFEE ACADEMICS shall be solely responsible for all related obligations and liabilities. WeLab Bank shall not be liable and shall have no responsibility in relation to the accuracy, content, availability, and/or omission of the products and/or service information found in any of The COFFEE ACADEMICS physical stores and/or the E-Shop.
17. Your eligibility to participate in this Promotion is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion.
18. Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in the Promotion by WeLab Bank.
19. This Promotion is non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash or items.
20. WeLab Bank reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Promotion and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of dispute, the decision of WeLab Bank and The COFFEE ACADEMICS shall be final, conclusive, and binding.
21. If you have any complaints or disputes in relation to The COFFEE ACADEMICS products and/or services, you shall directly contact The COFFEE ACADEMICS at [email protected].
22. These terms and conditions of this Promotion shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”). In the event of inconsistency between these terms and conditions of this Promotion and the Account Terms, these Promotion terms and conditions shall prevail.
23. Terms defined in our Account Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.
24. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
