[1] The WeLab Bank x Midland Holdings and partnering companies corporate referral campaign (“Campaign”) shall be valid from 2 August 2021 to 30 September 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”) unless otherwise specified by us.

[2] The Campaign is only applicable to existing staff of Midland Holdings and partnering companies (“Eligible Customer”, “you” or “your”) who is an existing customer of WeLab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) with a valid WeLab Bank account (as determined by us at our sole discretion) within the Campaign Period.

[3] To join the campaign, Eligible Customer needs to (1) provide their 6-digit unique referral code by filling in the enrolment form within the Campaign Period; and (2) successfully refer at least 5 direct referees to open an account within the Campaign Period. Direct referees refer to those new customers who opens a WeLab Bank account using the Eligible Customer’s unique referral code. The account opening application needs to be completed and approved before 30th September 2021 to be eligible.

[4] The Eligible Customer who has referred the highest number of direct referees within the Campaign Period will receive a grand prize of HKD 20,000 spending rebate and the next 10 Eligible Customers who referred the highest number of direct referees within the Campaign Period will each receive a prize of HKD 1,000 spending rebate (altogether referred as “Spending Rebate”). The winners will be notified by WeLab Bank by email within 10 days upon the end of campaign (“Notification Email”).

[5] The Spending Rebate is for all transactions made with his/her WeLab Debit Card (“Eligible Transactions”), capped at HKD20,000 (for the grand prize winner) or HKD1,000 (for all other winners) between the date of the Notification Email until the last date of the subsequent third calendar month.

For example, if you receive the Notification Email on 8 October 2021, your Eligible Transactions made between 8 October 2021 to 31 January 2022 will be entitled to the spending rebate.

[6] There is no limitation on the type and amount of the transaction for each Eligible Transaction. The transaction time will be based on Hong Kong Time. If the transaction is made in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars, the Spending Rebate will be calculated based on Hong Kong Dollars after conversion at the applicable exchange rate. The Spending Rebate amount will be rounded to the nearest cent.

[7] If the total amount of Eligible Transaction(s) conducted by an Eligible Customer has exceeded the cap of the Spending Rebate, the exceeded amount of the eligible transaction(s) is not applicable to the Spending Rebate.

[8] The equivalent Spending Rebate amount earned by an Eligible Customer for each calendar month will be credited into his/her WeLab Bank Core Account within 10 working days from the 1st day of the next calendar month.

[9] If an Eligible Customer has subsequently cancelled or reversed any transactions (in full or partial amount) in respect of which the Spending Rebate amount has been credited to his/her Core Account, we reserve the right to debit the respective Spending Rebate amount directly from his/her Core Account without prior notice.

[10] You agree and acknowledge that you cannot terminate and/or close your WeLab Bank account within the Campaign Period and in the twelve (12) months after the end of the Campaign Period. Otherwise, we shall not credit the Spending Rebate amount or where the Spending Rebate amount has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the amount from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

[11] The Spending Rebate cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged, or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified by WeLab Bank.

[12] Eligible Customer can participate in this campaign at the same time with the WeLab Bank R-Friend Referral Campaign and the WeLab Bank “R Friend Referral Campaign Lucky Draw Promotion. The terms and conditions of these campaigns can be found on WeLab Bank website.

[13] We reserve the right to vary, modify and terminate this Campaign (including but not limited to the Campaign Period and the Spending Rebate) and to amend any of these Campaign terms and conditions at any time without any notice. In case of disputes in relation to this Campaign, WeLab Bank’s decision shall be final and binding.

[14] Your eligibility to participate in this Campaign is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion. Our decision shall be conclusive and binding.

[15] Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in the Campaign and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account with us. We shall not credit the reward amount or where the cash reward amount has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the Rewards from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

[16] Terms defined in our Account Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.

[17] Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
