[2] Eligibility criteria:

This Offer is only applicable to the first 10,000 new customers (“you” or “New Customer”) referred by selected existing WeLab Bank (“our” or “us”) customers who have a designated referral code (“Referrer”). New Customer is only eligible for the Offer when they have successfully opened a WeLab Bank account during the Offer Period, by using a referral code issued by WeLab Bank under these Offer terms and conditions. An account opening is deemed to be successful only upon receiving a confirmation email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account opening request is approved, and the account is set up.


[3] How to enjoy the Offer:

(a) Enter a valid referral code for this offer (provided by the Referrer) into the WeLab Bank App during account opening application.

(b) You will be entitled to HKD 200 (“Cash Rewards”) when you use a valid referral code to successfully open a WeLab Bank account within the Offer Period.

(c) The applicable Cash Rewards will be credited into your WeLab Bank Core Account within 30 days from 30 November 2020.


[4] Other Offer Terms and Conditions:

(a) This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with the “WeLab Welcome Offer: 7% Foodie Rebate” and other referral programmes. For the referral programmes, that means if you have input any other referral code or campaign code when you set up your WeLab Bank account, then you are not entitled to this Offer.

(b) The Cash Rewards amount cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified by WeLab Bank.

(c) Your eligibility to participate in this Offer is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion. Our decision shall be conclusive and binding.

(d) You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any Cash Rewards if you close your Core Account at any time before the cash reward is credited into your Core Account.

(e) Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in this Offer and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account(s) with us. We shall not credit the cash reward or where the Cash Rewards has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the Cash Reward from your Account(s) (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

(f) These Offer terms and conditions shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”). In the event of inconsistency between these Offer terms and conditions, the Account Terms, the prevailing order shall be as follows:

(i) these Offer terms and conditions; and

(ii) the Account Terms.

(g) Terms defined in our Account Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.

(h) We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Offer and/or amend these Offer terms and conditions at any time. In the event of dispute, our decision shall be final, conclusive and binding.

(i) In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
