[1] Unless otherwise stated, the Offer runs from 29 August 2022 to 30 September 2022 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).

[2] The Offer is only applicable to customers with an occupation as a Civil Servant (“you” or “your”) who:

  • have successfully applied for a WeLab Bank Personal Loan (“Loan”) in accordance with the WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan & Debt Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions using promotion code “NLC800”; and
  • draw down the Loan (not applicable for reborrow / top-up of the Loan) within 7 days after approval with:
  • a minimum loan amount of HKD80,000 and a minimum tenor of 24 months.

[3] By fulfilling the above requirements in Clause [2], you can enjoy an extra HKD800 cash rebate (“CS Cash Rebate”) in addition to the cash rebate offered in the Personal Loan Cash Rebate Offer (click here for relevant terms and conditions).

[4] Civil Servant refers to person who is working in the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and related organizations. For a list of eligible organizations, please refer to the Government Telephone Directory (Website: https://www.directory.gov.hk/basic_search.jsp?lang=eng). By claiming to be a Civil Servant, you are required to submit proof of occupation to WeLab Bank when applying for the Loan. We reserve the right to request for any other documents or information deemed necessary for assessment and approval of the Loan or other related purposes. WeLab Bank reserves the final right to decide the interpretation and definition of eligible organizations.

[5] CS Cash Rebate will be credited into your Core Account on or before 31 January 2023.

[6] You may only use one (1) promotion code when applying for a Loan, and you will only be entitled to the offer which corresponds with the promotion code used. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other referral programs (unless otherwise stated) which means if you have used any other promotion / referral code(s) during the Loan application, you will not be entitled to this CS Cash Rebate.

[7] In the event that you repay the outstanding amount of your Loan in full prior to the Loan’s final repayment date, we reserve the right not to credit any CS Cash Rebate and / or where the CS Cash Rebate has been credited, will be debited directly from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without prior notice and / or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

[8] The CS Cash Rebate amount (if applicable) cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged, or converted into other forms, unless otherwise specified by us.

[9] You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any cash rebate if you close your Core Account or repay the loan before the CS Cash Rebate amount is credited into your Core Account.

[10] Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and / or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in the Offer and / or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account with us. We shall not credit the CS Cash Rebate or where the CS Cash Rebate has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the CS Cash Rebate from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and / or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

[11] We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate the Offer and / or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of dispute, our decision shall be final, conclusive, and binding.

[12] These terms and conditions shall be read in conjunction with our Account Terms and the WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan & Debt Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions. In the event of discrepancies or inconsistencies between these terms and conditions and the Account Terms and the WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan & Debt Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

[13] Terms defined in our Account Terms and / or the WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan & Debt Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions ​shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.

[14] In the event of discrepancies and or inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
