What is WeLab Bank Subscribe+ for Apple Products?

WeLab Bank Subscribe+ for Apple Products is an innovative credit product for customers to purchase eligible Apple products at fixed-term instalment payment under a dedicated credit line. With the Subscribe+ Program, customer can purchase multiple Apple products at physical stores or online shops of designated resellers. What differentiates this program from other instalment products in the market is that, if you purchase an Apple product with assigned maximum trade-in value, monthly instalment amount will be calculated after deduction of the maximum trade-in value of such product. Final instalment amount includes monthly instalment amount and the estimated maximum trade-in value of the product. Upon maturity of the fixed payment term, you can either keep or trade in the device where upon assessment, device's actual trade-in value will be used to offset, in part or in full, the maximum trade-in value included in the final repayment of your Instalment Loan.


Please note that maximum trade-in value is not a guarantee to the actual trade-in value of your device, which will vary depending on actual condition of the device and the valuation of the trade-in service provider.


How may I purchase Apple products with the WeLaab Bank Subscribe+ for Apple Products program?

You can visit physical outlets or online store of our partnered resellers and choose to check out with our Bank's Subscribe+ program. You will then be redirected to our application platform for applying for the credit products for checkout. What are the requirement for applying for WeLab Bank Subscribe+ for Apple Products?

You must be a HK permanent resident at age of 18 years old or above, and you also need to provide a permanent residential address for application. Upon submitting application we will go through a series of internal due diligence check before presenting you the approval result.


Currently, our Subscribe+ for Apple Products Services do not support customers holding the ID card of People’s Republic of China. Stay tuned for our latest development.

What do I need to provide in order to apply for WeLab Bank Subscribe+ for Apple Products if I currently do not hold a WeLab Bank account?

If you do not hold a valid WeLab Bank account at the moment, we will open a WeLab Bank account for you during you first application process. You will need to authenticate yourself with HKID scan and selfie taking, apart from providing further personal information e.g. residential, education and employment details for us to proceed with your application.

Will my WeLab Bank account be readily available upon it is opened successfully through my Subscribe+ application?

You will need to download and log in WeLab Bank app after finishing checkout as soon as possible to re-authenticate your account and finish setting up. Until the process is complete, your account will not be fully functionable including that you cannot make another purchase with the revolving credit line.


To facilitate you to deposit funds for repaying the loan, we strongly advise you to complete such steps before your first monthly repayment.

Why is my application under further review?

There are various factors to consider for your account opening and/or credit application so sometimes we would require additional manual review to check your application before granting you the approval. Rest assured that we are on it and will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 1-2 business days.

After purchasing an Apple product under the Subscribe+ program, can I buy another device at another reseller?

Yes but only when you have fully repaid all active loans under the Subscribe+ program.

*WeLab Bank is the only bank which partnered with Apple in providing official revolving credit instalment plan for Apple products as of 31 August 2025.

(1) This program is a revolving credit facility. Through this program, if you purchase an Apple product with assigned buy now pay later value, monthly instalment amount will be calculated after deduction of the buy now pay later value of such product. Depending on the Apple product purchased, the buy now pay later value can be up to 30% of the purchase price of the Apple product. Final instalment amount includes monthly instalment amount and the buy now pay later value of the product.

(2) The Bank is not the supplier or reseller of Apple products. Any inquiry, comment or complaint about the quality of relevant Apple products or services should be directed to the relevant suppliers or resellers. The Bank will not be responsible for any matters in relation to relevant products or services. Any disputes arising from the Apple products and services should be resolved between the customer and the relevant suppliers or resellers. You will not enjoy the chargeback protection in the program, which means if the reseller fails to deliver the product or AppleCare+ and refuses to refund the purchase payment, we will not make any refund to you instead and your obligation to repay the instalment loan in full will continue.

(3) The monthly instalment amount is calculated based on 0% Annualized Interest Rate (APR) and the following assumptions:

^The final instalment is HKD2,914 (iPhone 17 Pro 256 GB), HKD2,139 (iPhone 17 256 GB), HKD2,666 (iPhone Air), HKD900 (Apple Watch S11)

The above illustrations are for reference only, the actual monthly instalment amount depends on the customer’s selected Apple product and final approval status. Repayment amounts are rounded to the nearest integer and are for illustration only.

(4) The Annualized Interest Rate (APR) under this program is as low as 0%. The APR is calculated according to the guidelines issued in respect of the Code of Banking Practice and rounded to the nearest 2 decimal places and may vary for individual customers. The APR is a reference rate, which includes all applicable interest rates, fees and charges of the product, expressed as an annualized rate, and the APR and monthly repayment amount applicable to individual customers may vary. The revolving credit limit, APR and the loan tenor of the instalment loan of this program will be subjected to the bank’s final approval. If you do not have a valid WeLab Bank account before the application of this program, you will apply to open a WeLab Bank account during the application of the program. After the completion of the application, please download and log in WeLab Bank app to re-authenticate your account and complete setting up as soon as possible. Your account will not be fully functionable including that you cannot make another purchase with the revolving credit line until you have completed the re-authentication.

(5) The loan tenor ranges from 12 to 36 months, depending on the Apple product purchased.
