Exclusive to selected customers - WeLab Bank X Tesla Mega Combo Offer Terms and Conditions

[1] WeLab Bank X Tesla Mega Combo Offer (“Promotion”) runs from 1 January 2024 until 31 March 2024 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

[2] The Promotion is only applicable to below customers, who have successfully applied and drawn down WeLab Bank Personal Instalment Loan (“Loan”) in accordance with Clauses [4] to [10] ; (“Selected Customer(s)”,”you” or “your”):

(a) Staff under Tesla Employee Purchase Program offered by Tesla Motors HK Limited (“Tesla”); or
(b) Selected existing owners of Tesla, as determined by Tesla.

[3] The decision of Tesla and WeLab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) on the definition of Selected Customer shall be final.

Exclusive to selected customers - Tesla WeLab Bank Personal Instalment Loan Offer (“Loan Promotion”)

[4] The annualized percentage rate (“APR”) of the Loan is fixed at 0%. Assuming the loan amount is HKD400,000 with a tenor of 36 months, the APR will be 0.00%. The APR is calculated according to the guidelines issued in respect of the Code of Banking Practice and rounded to the nearest 2 decimal places and may vary for individual customers. Customers should refer to their loan confirmation letters for the relevant information and such information shall prevail. The APR is only applicable to designated loan amount and for reference only. The final approved interest rate will be subject to customer’s credit assessment and the Bank’s approval.

[5] HKD 3,000 cash rebate upon loan disbursement (“Loan Cash Rebate”):
(a) Customers who have successfully applied for Loan in accordance with the WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan & Card Debt Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions within the Promotion Period, and draw down the loan (not applicable for reborrow/top-up of the Loan) within 7 days after approval with a maximum tenor of 36 months and a minimum loan amount of HKD 80,000, can enjoy HKD 3,000 cash rebate (“Cash Rebate”).

(b) The Cash Rebate amount will be credited into your Core Account on or before 30 April 2024

[6] The Loan amount available can be up to 100% of the purchase price of selected Tesla model vehicle (subject to Selected Customer’s provision of the relevant proof of purchase).

[7] The Loan Promotion is only applicable to Selected Customers:

(a) who have completed the purchase order of selected Tesla model vehicle from Tesla and provided relevant proof of purchase containing the Selected Customers’ name with designated dates as listed below:

• If the date of proof of purchase is between 15 August 2023 – 31 December 2023, then applicable promotion period is 1 January 2024 – 31 March 2024

(b) who have inputted (i) the relevant promotion code ‘TWFREE’ under ‘Promotion Code’ for the loan application <applicable for existing WeLab Bank customer>; or (ii) the relevant promotion code ‘TWFREE’ under ‘Referral Code’ for account opening <applicable for new WeLab Bank customer>; and
(c) who have successfully applied for and drawn down the Loan in accordance with the WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan and Debit Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions within the Promotion Period.
(d) who have to fulfill Tesla’s designated requirements of new Tesla electric vehicle purchase. Tesla on the definition of designated requirements shall be final.

[8] The drawdown loan amount must be used to finance the purchase of Tesla model vehicle within 3 months after loan drawdown or else the APR of this Loan will be revised as 20.00% on or before the repayment date of the 4th repayment instalment without further notice.

[9] This Loan Promotion cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged, or converted into other forms, unless otherwise specified by us.

[10] This Loan Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with the below loan promotion offers:
(a) Loan-Deposit-Link Offer
(b) Personal Loan Cash Rebate Offer
(c) WeLab Bank Personal Loan “R-Friend Referral” Campaign

Special Interest Rate to the Core Account Offer (“Core Account Promotion”)

[11] You will be entitled to receive a monthly cash rebate for your Core Account deposit balance held with us (“Deposit Cash Rebate”) starting from the month in which you have drawn down the Loan and the subsequent 11 calendar months.

For the first monthly cash rebate, only the Core Account deposit balance from the drawdown date to month end will be counted.

[12] Eligible deposits refers to the funds placed in the your Core Account and the maximum amount is HKD300,000 (“Eligible Deposit”).

[13] For the avoidance of doubt, the interest of your Core Account will still be calculated:

(i) based on the total daily Eligible Deposit balance of your Core Account and our prevailing interest rate* for the Core Account as at the interest calculation day; and
(ii) accrue daily on a simple and 365-day basis (a 366-day basis in the case of a leap year).

For the avoidance of doubt, the total interest rate of 1.50% will include your Core Account deposit interest rate.

*Our current prevailing interest rate for HKD for your Core Account is 0.01%. It is for reference only and is subject to change from time to time and at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion. The latest prevailing interest rate for your Core Account can be obtained from our website or WeLab Bank App.

[14] The Deposit Cash Rebate from your Additional Interest Rate will be credited into your Core Account within 14 working days from the final day of each month. The latest prevailing interest amount will be credited to your Core Account on the first day of each month.

[15] Core Account’s deposit is a deposit qualified for protection under the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong.

Exclusive to selected customers - Tesla GoWealth Tesla Seed Money Offer (“Tesla GoWealth Offer” or “Offer”)

[16] This Tesla GoWealth Offer is only applicable to Selected Customers of WeLab Bank who meet following conditions:

If you have met the requirements in Clause [7] above, and successfully opened an Investment Account at WeLab Bank and carried out Eligible Transaction(s) with Accumulated Investment Amount of not less than HKD1,000 (please refer to Clause [18] for the definition of “Eligible Transaction” and “Accumulated Investment Amount”).

To be a new customer means you have not terminated and/or closed neither your WeLab Bank Core Account nor Investment Account in the twelve (12) months prior to the month in which you have drawn down the Loan.

[17] You may only use one (1) referral code when opening a WeLab Bank Core Account, and you will only be entitled to the offer/rebate which corresponds with the referral code used. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other referral programmes which means if you have input any other referral code when you apply for your WeLab Bank Core Account, then you are not entitled to this Offer.

[18] “Eligible GoWealth Transaction” shall mean subscription for Featured Funds via Wealth Management Services or Digital Wealth Advisory in the WeLab Bank App, covering one-time investment and monthly investment and “Accumulated Investment Amount” refer to all eligible transactions within the month you drawn down the loan plus the following 3 calendar months. Transaction time will be based on Hong Kong Time (HKT).

[19] Customer is entitled to a cash rebate in the sum of HKD 300 (“Seed Money”) starting from the month you withdraw the loan, and within the following 3 calendar months, if you meet all the requirements in Clause [16].

[20] You can only enjoy the Seed Money once during the Promotion Period.

[21] If any Eligible GoWealth Transaction is withdrawn, cancelled or declined in respect of which the Seed Money amount is to be/has been credited to your WeLab Bank Core Account, we reserve the right to debit the respective Seed Money amount directly from your WeLab Bank Core Account without prior notice.

[22] The dates and amounts appearing in our record will be conclusive as to (i) the date on which the Core Account and/or Investment Account was opened, terminated or converted and (ii) the date on which the Subscription is carried out.

[23] Seed Money will be credited to your WeLab Bank Core Account within 20 business days from the last day of the month in which you meet all requirements in Clause [19]. Your WeLab Bank Core Account and Investment Account status must remain active and normal at the time when Seed Money rewards you. Otherwise, the reward will be forfeited.

[24] This Offer is not applicable to the staff members of WeLab Bank Limited, WeLend Limited and WeLab Holdings Limited.

[25] This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional offers related to GoWealth Digital Wealth Advisory Services or Featured Funds unless otherwise specified.

General

[26] There are limited quotas for this Promotion and it is rewarded on a first come first served basis. Our records on the available Promotion quotas are final and conclusive.

[27] You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive the corresponding cash rebate if you:

Loan Cash Rebate

(a) close your Core Account at any time before we release the cash rebate; and/or
(b) early repay your Tesla Exclusive Loan at any time before last repayment date

Deposit Cash Rebate

(a) close your Core Account at any time before we release the cash rebate; and/or
(b) early repay your Tesla Exclusive Loan at any time within 12 months after loan disbursement date.

[28] The cash rebate amount will be rounded to the nearest cent.

[29] All cash rebate amount cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged, or converted into other forms, unless otherwise specified by us.

[30] Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in the Promotion and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account with us. We shall not credit the cash rebate amount or where the cash rebate amount has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the cash rebate amount from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

[31] These Promotion terms and conditions shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”) , WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan and Debit Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions and Wealth Management Services Terms. Terms defined in our Account Terms, WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan and Debit Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions or Wealth Management Services Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined. In the event of inconsistency between these Promotion terms and conditions, the Account Terms, the WeLab Bank Personal Loan (Personal Instalment Loan and Debit Consolidation Loan) Terms and Conditions and the Wealth Management Services Terms, these Promotion terms and conditions shall prevail.

[32] Your eligibility to participate in this Promotion is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion.

[33] We and Tesla reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Promotion and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of dispute, the decision of WeLab Bank Limited and Tesla shall be final, conclusive and binding.

[34] There are no fees and charges for any Eligible Transaction made by using WeLab Debit Card at any Supercharger of Tesla, unless otherwise notified by us. However, we reserve the right to levy other fees and charges as shown in our General Service Charges (if applicable).

[35] All products and/or services are directly sold and supplied to you by Tesla. Tesla shall be solely responsible for all related obligations and liabilities. We shall not be liable and shall have no responsibility in relation to the accuracy, content, availability, and/or omission of the product and/or service information found in any Supercharger of Tesla.

[36] Products and/or services provided directly by Tesla may be subject to their terms and conditions. If you have any complaints or disputes in relation to their products and/or services, you shall directly contact your Tesla delivery advisor.

[37] In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
