Coffee on-us Reward Terms & Conditions

[1] The Coffee-on-us Reward (“Offer”) shall be valid from 10 February 2021 to 9 April 2021 (both dates inclusive) (the “Offer Period”), unless otherwise specified by us.

[2] The Offer is only applicable to new customers (“you” or “your”) who have successfully opened a bank account at Welab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) using the referral code provided by Arro or the designated Arro coffee shop within the Offer Period. To be a new WeLab Bank customer means you have not terminated and/or closed your WeLab Bank account in the twelve (12) months prior to the commencement of the Offer Period.

[3] An account opening is deemed to be successful only upon receiving a confirmation email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account is set up (“Confirmation Email”).

[4] Upon receiving the Confirmation Email, you will be entitled to an account opening reward (“Account Opening Reward”) which is comprised of:

1. an HKD 120 cash reward (“Cash Reward”); and
2. two (2) coffee vouchers (“Vouchers”),

subject to its equivalent terms and conditions defined in the section below.

[5] You may only use one (1) referral code when opening a WeLab Bank account, and you will only be entitled to the Account Opening Reward which corresponds with the referral code used. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other referral programmes which means if you have input any other referral codes when you apply for your WeLab Bank account, then you are not entitled to the Account Opening Reward under this Offer.

[6] The Account Opening Reward cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified by WeLab Bank.

[7] Your eligibility to participate in this Offer is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion. Our decision shall be conclusive and binding.

[8] You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any Account Opening Reward if you close your Core Account at any time before the reward is credited into your Core Account.

[9] Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in this Offer and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account(s) with us. We shall not credit the Account Opening Reward or where the Account Opening Reward has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the Account Opening Reward from your Account(s) (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

[10] These Offer terms and conditions shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”). In the event of inconsistency between these Offer terms and conditions, the Account Terms, the prevailing order shall be as follows:

(i) these Offer terms and conditions; and
(ii) the Account Terms.

[11] Terms defined in our Account Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.

[12] We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Offer and/or amend these Offer terms and conditions at any time. In the event of dispute, our decision shall be final, conclusive and binding.

[13] In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

Terms & Conditions for the Cash Reward

[14] The Cash Reward will be credited into your WeLab Bank Core Account directly. The Cash Reward will be indicated as “Account Opening Reward” in the WeLab Bank app when the reward has been credited.

Terms & Conditions for the Voucher

[15] The Vouchers will be sent to your registered email with our Bank within 10 working days upon account opening in the form of a QR code. Each Voucher is equivalent to a value of HKD 60 and can be used to off set the transactions made in the participating coffee shops as set out by Arro, for detail: www.arrocoffee.app/arroxwelab.

[16] The Voucher can only be used at the designated Coffee Shops. The Voucher needs to be showed to the Coffee Shops for redemption.

[17] Each Voucher can be used once and in one single transaction only. To use the Voucher, your transaction amount needs to be equal to or greater than HKD 70. Also, you will have to settle the remaining balance using your WeLab Debit Card.

[18] The Voucher shall be terminated immediately upon closure of the Coffee Shops.

[19] Cardholders understand and accept that the Bank is not the supplier of the products and/or services supplied by the Coffee Shops under or in connection with the Offer(s). The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the products and/or services, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions of products and/or services provided by the Coffee Shops, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the promotion of the Offer(s) or in making available the Offer(s) or the products and/or services under the Offer(s), by the Coffee Shops, its employees, officers or agents.
