TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR “WELAB BANK KNOWS YOU WELL – 18 DISTRICTS CAMPAIGN” (“CAMPAIGN”)

[1] By participating in WeLab Bank Knows You Well – 18 Districts Campaign, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Campaign terms and conditions.

[2] The Campaign period is from 1st February 2021 to 31st March 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”).

[3] To participate in the Campaign, you must complete the game registration at https://18districts.welab.bank (“Campaign Site”). A game registration is deemed to be successful upon receiving a confirmation SMS from WeLab Bank.

[4] To be eligible for the Welcome Offers, you:

(a) Must be a new customer who has successfully opened a bank account at Welab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) within the Campaign Period (“New Customer”).

To be a new customer means you have not terminated and/or closed your WeLab Bank account in the 12 months prior to the commencement of the Campaign Period. An account opening is deemed to be successful only upon receiving a confirmation email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account opening request is approved and the account is set up;

(b) Must have used the same mobile phone number used to link with your WeLab Bank Account for registration at the Campaign Site;

(c) Must collect any 6 and/or 12 different characters described in Clause 6 below; and

Must complete the Designated Tasks described in Clause 8 below.

[5] To be eligible to participate in the lucky draw for the Grand Prize, you:

(a) can either be a New Customer or an existing customer.

An existing customer means you opened your account at WeLab Bank prior to the Campaign Period (“Existing Customer”);

(b) Must have used the same mobile phone number used to link with your WeLab Bank Account for registration at the Campaign Site; and

(c) Collect all 18 characters described in Clause 6 below.

[6] After registering at the Campaign Site successfully, your goal is to collect a total of 18 different characters for a chance to get cash rewards (“Rewards”). You may be able to get Rewards by following the Campaign instructions. For the avoidance of doubt, if you are not a New or Existing Customer of Welab Bank, you will only be eligible to participate in the Campaign and you will not be entitled to receive any Welcome Offers or participate in the lucky draw for the Grand Prize. Details are listed as below:

[7] You can complete certain actions to collect characters as listed below:

[8] For New Customers only, in addition to collecting any 6 and/or 12 different characters, you must login to your WeLab Bank Account and accomplish the below designated tasks on or before 30th April 2021 to be eligible for getting the Welcome Offer(s) (“Designated Task”):
Task 1: Successfully joined GoSave Time Deposit once (with at least HKD 10); or
Task 2: Successfully spent once with WeLab Debit Card (no limit to the spending amount)

Please note: You must register for the Campaign with the same mobile phone number that is linked with your WeLab Bank Account. This serves the purpose of Rewards redemption.

[9] For New Customers only, WeLab Bank will verify your eligible Welcome Offer(s). The Welcome Offer(s) will be credited into your WeLab Bank Core Account within 10 working days from the 1st day of the next calendar month.

[10] After the Campaign Period, one Grand Prize lucky draw winner will be randomly drawn by WeLab Bank. The winner will win HKD 18,000 and be informed via email or SMS message on or before 14th May 2021. The Grand Prize will be credited into the winner’s WeLab Bank Core Account on or before 14th May 2021. Those names who are not drawn would not be further informed.

[11] WeLab Bank shall not be liable for a winner’s failure or inability to redeem any Welcome Offer(s) and/or the Grand Prize whether due to a winner not receiving communications or otherwise.

[12] You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any Welcome Offer(s) and/or the Grand Prize if you close your Core Account at any time before the Rewards are credited into your Core Account in the applicable calendar month.

[13] All Welcome Offer(s) and/or the Grand Prize will be delivered to your WeLab Bank’s Core Account.

[14] All Welcome Offer(s) and/or the Grand Prize cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged, or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified by WeLab Bank.

[15] Your eligibility to participate in this Campaign is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion. Our decision shall be conclusive and binding.

[16] Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in the Campaign and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account with us. We shall not credit the cash reward amount or where the cash reward amount has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the Rewards from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

[17] We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Campaign and/or amend these Campaign terms and conditions at any time. In the event of dispute, our decision shall be final, conclusive and binding.

[18] For any collection and use of your personal data through this Campaign, please refer to WeLab Bank’s Privacy Policy and Notice to Customers and Other Individuals relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

[19] For any use of cookies through this Campaign, please refer to WeLab Bank’s Terms of Use of Website.

[20] This Campaign is organized by Welab Bank Limited.

[21] Employees of Welab Bank Limited are ineligible to participate in the Grand Prize lucky draw. WeLab Bank reserves the sole and absolute right to interpret and determine the definition of “Employees of Welab Bank Limited”.

[22] Terms defined in our Account Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.

[23] Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
