Hong Kong, 18 July 2025 - WeLab Bank (“the Bank”) would like to alert our customers and the public to a recent fraudulent activity involving scammers impersonating representatives of the Bank’s parent company, WeLab and extending false job offers. We are aware of instances where scammers are contacting individuals via social media channels and messaging platforms, primarily X (formerly Twitter), offering employment opportunities and attempting to collect personal information. These scammers falsely associate themselves with WeLab and our affiliated companies and leverage on our official websites and LinkedIn page to create a false appearance of legitimacy. Please be advised that WeLab does not maintain an official presence on X and does not utilize X for recruitment purposes. Any accounts claiming to represent WeLab on X are fraudulent.
