SOGO X WeLab Bank Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. The SOGO X WeLab Bank Promotion (“Promotion”) period shall commence from 1 March 2021 to 31 March 2021 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
   
   10% Cash Rebate Offer (“Offer”)
2. The Offer is applicable to existing customers (“you” or “your”) of Welab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) who holds a valid Core Account with us. Your WeLab Debit Card will be automatically enrolled to the Offer.
   
   
3. During the Promotion Period, your Eligible Transactions at SOGO Hong Kong Co. Ltd. (“SOGO”) located in both Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui (“All SOGO in-Store”) and/or SOGO Hong Kong’s official online store (https://estore.SOGO.com.hk/) (“SOGO Official Online Store”) will be entitled to a 10% cash rebate subject to a cap amount of HKD 100 per week.
   
   
4. The maximum cash rebate amount you shall be entitled to within the Promotion Period is HKD 400. This is equivalent to eligible spending of HKD 1,000 per week and HKD 4,000 over the Promotion Period.
   
   
5. The schedule for the weekly 10% cash rebate with a cap amount of HKD 100 is defined as below:
   Week 1: 1 March 2021 - 7 March 2021
   Week 2: 8 March 2021 - 14 March 2021
   Week 3: 15 March 2021 - 21 March 2021
   Week 4: 22 March 2021 - 28 March 2021
   Week 5: 29 March 2021 - 31 March 2021
   
   
6. Eligible transaction is defined as transactions conducted using your WeLab Debit Card within the Promotion Period in any currency (“Eligible Transaction”). If the eligible transaction is made in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars, the cash rebate will be calculated based on Hong Kong Dollars after conversion at the applicable exchange rate.
   
   
7. The equivalent cash rebate amount will be credited into your Core Account within 10 working days from the 1st day of the calendar month after the end of the Promotion Period.
   
   
8. The maximum cash rebate amount of SOGO promotion is HKD 400.
   
   
9. You have to keep the original sales receipt or official payment record of your Eligible Transactions. In case of dispute, we may at any time ask you to submit the receipt, record, and/or further evidence for inspection and we may keep them.
   
10. You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any cash rebate if you:

(a) close your Core Account at any time before we award the cash rebate;

(b) the cash rebate amount is HKD 0.01 and below;

(c) failed to complete the purchase; and/or

(d) reverse your Eligible Transaction (including but not limited to a refund of the products or cancellation of purchase).

11. If any Eligible Transaction where the cash rebate was awarded is subsequently reversed, we may forfeit or deduct the cash rebate (as the case may be) from your Core Account without notice to you.

Welcoming Reward

12. The Reward is eligible to new customers (“New Customer”) and you will be entitled to HKD 200 account opening cash rebate (“Account Opening Reward”) upon:

(a) opening a WeLab Bank account using the referral code “SGHK10” provided by SOGO and/or WeLab Bank (the “SOGO Referral Codes”) within the Reward Period. An account opening is deemed to be successful only upon receiving a confirmation email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account is set up (“Confirmation Email”). To be a New Customer means you have not terminated and/or closed your WeLab Bank account in the twelve (12) months prior to the commencement of the Reward Period.; and

(b) spending a minimum amount of HKD 200 in a single-receipt with the WeLab Debit Card at All SOGO in-Store and/or SOGO eStore before 31 May 2021.

13. You may only use one (1) referral code when opening a WeLab Bank account, and you will only be entitled to the Account Opening Reward which corresponds with the referral code used. This Reward cannot be used in conjunction with other referral programmes which means if you have input any other referral codes when you apply for your WeLab Bank account, then you are not entitled to the Account Opening Reward under this Reward.

14. The equivalent Account Opening Reward will be credited into your Core Account within 10 working days from the 1st day of the next calendar month that a New Customer becomes eligible to the Account Opening Reward. The Account Opening Reward will be indicated as “Account Opening Reward” in the WeLab Bank app when the reward has been credited.

15. You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any Account Opening Reward if you close your Core Account at any time before the reward is credited into your Core Account.

General
16. To use your WeLab Debit Card at All SOGO in-Store, you must have an activated physical WeLab Debit Card. However, you may use your virtual WeLab Debit Card at the SOGO eStore to enjoy the Promotion.

17. The maximum cash rebate amount of HKD 500 is calculated in conjunction with the maximum cash rebate amount in our Spring Seasonal Offer. This means that if your cash rebate under this Offer is HKD400, you will be entitled to HKD 100 cash rebate under the Spring Seasonal Offer. If SOGO purchases also fall into the spending categories under the Spring Seasonal Offer, you will only be entitled to 10% SOGO cash rebate and cannot enjoy the 5% Spring Seasonal cash rebate. The SOGO promotion and Spring Seasonal Offer are mutually exclusive. For example, if you shop at Sogo Freshmart and spend HKD 500, you will only be entitled 10% SOGO cash rebate. Please refer to the Spring Seasonal Offer Terms & Conditions for further information.

18. You cannot exchange the cash rebate or Account Opening Reward for cash, other products, services or discounts or transfer the offer.

19. Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in this Promotion and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account(s) with us. We shall not credit the cash rebate amount and/or the Account Opening Reward or where the cash rebate amount and/or Account Opening Reward has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the amount(s) from your Account(s) (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

20. These terms and conditions of this Promotion shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”). In the event of inconsistency between these terms and conditions of this Promotion and the Account Terms, these Promotion terms and conditions shall prevail.

21. Your eligibility to participate in this Promotion is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion.

22. In the event of inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

23. We and SOGO reserve the right to vary or terminate the Promotion at any time and to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. In case of disputes, the decision of WeLab Bank Limited and SOGO shall be final.

24. There are no fees and charges for any Eligible Transaction made by using WeLab Debit Card at the All SOGO in-Store and/or SOGO Official Online Store, unless otherwise notified by us. However, we reserve the right to levy other fees and charges as shown in our General Service Charges (if applicable).

25. All products are directly sold and supplied to you by SOGO. SOGO shall be solely responsible for all related obligations and liabilities. We shall not be liable and shall have no responsibility in relation to the accuracy, content, availability, and/or omission of the products and/or service information found in any of the All SOGO in-Store and/or on SOGO Official Online Store.
