Introduction
[1] You may take part in the WeLab Bank X KMB Game Campaign (“Campaign”) by accessing the designated website of this Campaign (“Campaign Site”). By participating in this Campaign, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
[2] The Campaign period is from 15 September 2021 to 12 November 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Campaign Period”).
[3] This Campaign includes (a) New Customer Game Code Account Opening Rebate Campaign, (b) Existing Customer Game Bus Fare Rebate Campaign and (c) PlayStation® 5 Lucky Draws Campaign.
New Customer Game Code Account Opening Rebate Campaign (the “New Customer Campaign”)
[4] You may participate in the New Customer Campaign by indicating you are a new customer of Welab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) in the Campaign Site. To be a new customer means you are not a current customer of us and you have not terminated and/or closed your WeLab Bank account in the twelve (12) months prior to the commencement of the Campaign Period.
[5] By completion of the designated game in the Campaign Site, you will have a chance to win an account opening reward of either HKD200, HKD300 or HKD2,000 spending rebate (“Account Opening Rebate”). If you win an Account Opening Rebate, you will be invited to enter your mobile number (“Mobile Number”) in the Campaign Site to obtain a one-time password (“OTP”) through SMS to the Mobile Number. Upon inputting the OTP in the Campaign Site, a referral code (“Referral Code”) and the actual amount of the Account Opening Rebate you have won will be shown to you.
[6] The Mobile Number is collected by our service provider to us for the purpose of authentication and reward redemption under this Campaign. On the other hand, subject to your consent provided to us in the Campaign Site, we may also use your Mobile Phone for direct marketing in this Campaign. The collection of your Mobile Number will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
[7] To be entitled to the Account Opening Rebate you have won, you should:
(i) be a new customer of WeLab Bank;
(ii) use the Referral Code and the Mobile Number to open a WeLab Bank account on or before 31 December 2021 successfully. An account opening is deemed to be successful only upon receiving a confirmation email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account opening request is approved and the account is set up; and
(iiI) conduct at least four Eligible Transactions (as defined below) within 30 calendar days from the date of the receiving the confirmation email (“Eligible Transaction Period”).
[8] Entry to this New Customer Campaign is unlimited but you can only receive one Referral Code for one mobile number. You can only use one (1) referral code when opening a WeLab Bank account, and you will only be entitled to the Account Opening Rebate which corresponds with the referral code used. The Account Opening Rebate cannot be used in conjunction with other referral programmes which means if you have input any other referral codes when you apply for your WeLab Bank account, then you are not entitled to the Account Opening Rebate under this New Customer Campaign.
[9] The Account Opening Rebate is for all transactions made with your WeLab Debit Card (including (i) your virtual and physical WeLab Debit Card and (ii) your WeLab Debit Card which have been added in your mobile wallet) (“Eligible Transactions”) within the Eligible Transaction Period, capped at the actual amount of the Account Opening Rebate corresponding with the Referral Code used.
E.g.: If you receive the account opening confirmation email on 17 September 2021 and you have conducted 4 or more transactions between 17 September 2021 to 16 October 2021 (both dates inclusive), your Eligible Transactions made between 17 September 2021 to 16 October 2021 (both dates inclusive) will be entitled to the Account Opening Rebate.
[10] The equivalent cash rebate amount you have earned will be credited into your Core Account within 10 working days of the next calendar month of the end of your Eligible Transaction Period.
[11] If the Eligible Transaction is made in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollars, the cash rebate will be calculated based on Hong Kong Dollars after conversion at the applicable exchange rate. The cash rebate amount will be rounded to the nearest cent.
[12] If you request to close your account within one year upon receiving the Account Opening Reward, we have the right to deduct the equivalent credited amount from your account prior to the closing of account or collect the equivalent amount from you through any other means.
Existing Customer Game Bus Fare Rebate Campaign (the “Existing Customer Campaign”)
[13] You may participate in the Existing Customer Campaign by indicating you are a WeLab Bank existing customer in the Campaign Site.
[14] By completion of the designated game in the Campaign Site, subject to the Game Rebate quota mentioned in Clause 16 below, you will win a 100% cash rebate for a single trip of bus route operated by Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited ("KMB"), capped at HKD2 (“Game Rebate”). If you win a Game Rebate, you will be invited to enter your latest mobile number registered with us (“Registered Mobile Number”) in the Campaign Site to obtain an OTP through SMS to the Registered Mobile Number. Upon inputting the OTP in the Campaign Site, you will be entitled to the Game Rebate. You must provide your Registered Mobile Number in the Campaign Site. Otherwise, you will not be able to be entitled to the Game Rebate.
[15] The Registered Mobile Number is collected by our service provider to us for the purpose of authentication and reward redemption under this Campaign. The collection of your Registered Mobile Number will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
[16] The Existing Customer Campaign has a Game Rebate quota (capped at 100,000). Therefore, the Game Rebate is available on a first come first serve basis. Subject to the availability of the Game Rebate, you may not be able to win the Game Rebate even you have completed the designated game.
[17] To use the Game Rebate, you have to pay the bus fare for any bus route operated by KMB with WeLab Debit Card (including your physical WeLab Debit Card and your WeLab Debit Card which have been added in your mobile wallet) through the electronic payment system of KMB (“E-Payment System”)(“Eligible Bus Transaction”) in the same calendar month that you have been entitled to the Game Rebate (“Validity Period”). If you fail to use the Game Rebate within the Validity Period, your entitlement to the Game Rebate will expire. Each Game Rebate is only applicable for one KMB bus trip and you can only use one Game Rebate in a single KMB bus trip.
[18] You acknowledge that KMB will only accept payment by WeLab Debit Card through the E-Payment System. If you ride on a bus without the E-Payment System, you cannot pay the bus fare by your WeLab Debit Card and therefore cannot enjoy the Game Rebate. [19] You acknowledge that if you use WeLab Debit Card to pay the KMB’s bus fare:
(i) you cannot enjoy bus fare subsidy under the Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme and the Government’s Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities;
(ii) your entitlement to fee discount offered by KMB is subject to the sole discretion of KMB; and
(iii) you should ensure you have enough available balance in your Core Account to pay the bus fare in full. If your Core Account does not have enough available balance to pay the bus fare in full, the E-Payment System will still accept your WeLab Debit Card payment for once but (a) the transaction will not be considered as an Eligible Bus Transaction and you will not be entitled to any cash rebate in this transaction, and (b) your WeLab Debit Card will be suspended from making any KMB bus fare payment without notice.
[20] The Game Rebate under the Existing Customer Campaign can be used in conjunction with the following promotional offers:
(i) the WeLab Bank X KMB E-Payment Bus Fare Rebate Offer. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of WeLab Bank X KMB E-Payment Bus Fare Rebate Offer, you can earn at most HKD4 cash rebate (a maximum of HKD 2 Game Rebate under the Existing Customer Campaign and a maximum of HKD 2 cash rebate under the WeLab Bank X KMB E-Payment Bus Fare Rebate Offer) for each Eligible Bus Transaction. For more details of WeLab Bank X KMB E-Payment Bus Fare Rebate Offer, please refer to the relevant Terms and Conditions.
In all circumstances, the maximum amount of cash rebate you can earn from the Existing Customer Campaign and the WeLab Bank X KMB E-Payment Bus Fare Rebate Offer in each calendar month is HKD120.
(ii) WeLab Bank Daily Dining Offer 2021. Please refer to the relevant terms and conditions for more details.
[21] In all circumstances, the maximum cash rebate you can earn from the Existing Customer Campaign and all the promotional offers mentioned in Clause 20 above in each calendar month is HKD500.
E.g: If you earned a cash rebate of HKD120 from the Existing Customer Campaign and the WeLab Bank X KMB E-Payment Bus Fare Rebate Offer in September 2021, you would be entitled to a maximum of HKD 380 cash rebate under the WeLab Bank Daily Dining Offer 2021 Offer in the same month.
[22] The equivalent Game Rebate amount for each calendar month will be credited into your Core Account within 10 working days from the 1st day of the next calendar month.
PlayStation® 5 Lucky Draws Campaign
[23] During the Campaign Period, WeLab Bank will hold two lucky draws (the “Lucky Draws”) on the following dates, details of which are as follows:

[24] Instagram (“IG”) users or Facebook (“FB”) users who complete all the following tasks at or before the cut-off time of the respective Lucky Draw according to Clause 23 above (“Participants”) will be automatically eligible to the first entry to such Lucky Draw:
i. Finish the designated game in the Existing Customer Campaign in the Campaign Site;
ii. Follow the instructions in the Campaign Site and share your game result on your IG or FB account through story or post with hashtag “#WeLabBankxkmb”; and
iii. Grab the image of your IG/FB story or post and send the image to WeLab Bank’s official IG account (@welab.bank)(“Official IG Account”) or WeLab Bank’s official FB account (@WeLabBank)(“Official FB Account”)(as the case may be).
[25] There is no limit to the number of entries in the Lucky Draws per each Participant. The number of entries of each Participant will be based on the number of times the Participant has finished the designated game in the Existing Customer Campaign with the same Registered Mobile Number. The more the number of entries that the Participants gain, the greater the chance the Participants have of winning the Lucky Draw. For the avoidance of doubt, Participants are not required to complete tasks ii and iii in Clause 24 again for subsequent entries.
[26] In each Lucky Draw, WeLab Bank will use a computer to randomly select one winner (“Winner”) from the Participants. Participants who have not become the Winner in the first Lucky Draw will automatically participate in the second Lucky Draw and the number of entries of the Participants will be carried forward to the second Lucky Draw. You can only be a Winner once throughout this Campaign.
[27] After each Lucky Draw, WeLab Bank will announce the Winners on our Official IG Account and Official FB Account at the result announcement time of the respective Lucky Draw according to Clause 23 above through IG Story and FB Story. You agree and acknowledge that if you are selected as a Winner, your IG username or FB username will be shown publicly in the IG and FB Story on our Official IG and FB Account.
[28] Each Winner fulfilling all the following conditions below is entitled to one PlayStation® 5 (the “Prize”)):
28.1 is a current WeLab Bank customer who holds a valid and active WeLab Bank account which is in normal status (as determined by us at our sole discretion); and
28.2 has not terminated and/or closed his/her WeLab Bank account in the twelve (12) months prior to the commencement of this Campaign.
WeLab Bank will verify your status as a Winner and your entitlement to the Prize through the information you provide in accordance with Clause 29 below.
29.You are responsible to check the announcement of Winner at the result announcement time according to Clause 23 above. The Winner must contact WeLab Bank and provide the following information to verify his/her entitlement to the Prize within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the result announcement time of the respective Lucky Draw according to Clause 23 above via direct message through your IG or FB account which is identical to the result announcement to our Official IG Account or Official FB Account (as the case may be):
29.1 The Winner’s WeLab Bank Account Number
29.2 The Winner’s Registered Mobile Number; and
29.3 The Winner’s latest email address registered with us.
[30] After we have received a Winner’s direct message on IG or FB and verified his/her entitlement to the Prize, a notification email for the Prize will be sent to the respective Winner via his/her latest email address registered with us (“Notification Email”). [The Winner has to present a copy of the Notification Email and the original HKID in person at WeLab Bank’s designated venue to redeem the Prize, no later than the deadline specified in the Notification Email. WeLab Bank reserves the right to change the Prize redemption date(s) and/or method at any time.]
[31] If a winner: (a) does not maintain a valid and active IG or FB and/or email account through which WeLab Bank could contact them on, (b) does not comply with these terms and conditions, and/or (c) does not provide the information or provides inaccurate and incomplete information requested in Clause 29, WeLab Bank has the right to: (a) disqualify the Winner, and/or (b) withhold the Prize from the Winner without prior notice.
[32] WeLab Bank shall not be liable for a Winner’s failure or inability to redeem the Prize whether due to a Winner not receiving communications or otherwise. A Winner shall not be entitled to any compensation, refund or alternative prize due to a failure to redeem or claim the Prize.
[33] By redeeming the Prize according to Clauses 29 and 30 above, each Winner grants WeLab Bank full, global, royalty free and perpetual rights to take videos and/or photographs of the Winner and use the images resulting from the videography and/or photography, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for marketing and promotional and/or publicity purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to use them in our printed and online publicity, social media and press releases.
[34] WeLab Bank is not the supplier of the Prize. Any enquiry or complaint in relation to the Prize, should be directed to the relevant supplier. The Bank will assume no responsibility/ liability in respect thereof.
[35] In case of dispute, WeLab Bank has the final decision on your eligibility in joining Lucky Draws.

Miscellaneous
[37] The Account Opening Rebate, the Game Rebate and the Prize cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified by WeLab Bank.
[38] Your eligibility to participate in this Campaign is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion. Our decision shall be conclusive and binding.
[39] You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any rebate amount if you close your Core Account at any time before the rebate is credited into your Core Account.
[40] Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in this Campaign and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account with us. We shall not credit the cash rebate amount or give out the Prize to you or:
(i) where the cash rebate amount has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the cash rebate amount from your Account (including but not limited to your Core Account) without noticeand/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts; or
(ii) where the Prize has been given out, we reserve the right to reclaim the Prize.
[41] This Campaign is organized solely by WeLab Bank.
[42] These terms and conditions shall be read in connection with our Account Terms (the “Account Terms”). In the event of inconsistency between these terms and conditions, the Account Terms, the prevailing order shall be as follows:
(i) these terms and conditions; and
(ii) the Account Terms.
[43] Terms defined in our Account Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.
[44] We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Campaign and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time. In the event of dispute, our decision shall be final, conclusive and binding.
[45] In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
