WeLab Bank x Midland Account Opening Offer

[1] Offer Period: 30 October 2020 to 15 March 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Offer Period”)

[2]Cash Reward:

(a) During the Offer Period, Midland User (defined below) who successfully open a WeLab Bank account will be exclusively awarded HKD 200 (the “Offer”).

(b) The applicable Offer will be credited into your WeLab Bank Core Account within 45 working days from the date of receipt of an email from WeLab Bank indicating that the account opening request is approved and the account is set up (“WeLab Confirmation Email”).

[3]Eligibility criteria:

(a) The Offer is only applicable to new and existing registered users or members (“you” or “your”) of Midland Realty’s website, mobile application and Midland Club (collectively “Midland”) (altogether referred as “Midland User”) who have successfully opened a Welab Bank Limited (“WeLab Bank”, “we”, “us” or “our”) account at WeLab Bank during the Offer Period under the conditions outlined in Clause 4.

(b) An account opening process is deemed to be successful only upon receiving the WeLab Confirmation Email. For the avoidance of doubt, if you complete your account opening application during the Offer Period but you did not receive the WeLab Confirmation Email until on or after 20 February 2021, you will not be entitled to the Offer.

[4]How to enjoy the Offer:

(a) If you are a new Midland User and you register to become a user or member of Midland during the Offer Period, you will:

i. receive an email and/or SMS notification from Midland Realty indicating that your registration was successful (“Midland Confirmation Notification”); and

ii. The Midland Confirmation Notification will contain a designated WeLab Bank referral code. You must open a WeLab Bank account using their designated WeLab Bank referral code to enjoy the Offer.

(b) If you are an existing Midland User, you will receive an email and/or SMS from Midland Realty containing a designated WeLab Bank referral code. You must open a WeLab Bank account using their designated WeLab Bank referral code to enjoy the Offer.

(c) This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with the “WeLab Welcome Offer” and other referral programmes or campaigns. For the avoidance of doubt, that means if you have input any other referral code or campaign code when you set up your WeLab Bank account, then you are not entitled to this Offer.

[5]Cash Rebate:
(a) All WeLab Bank customers are eligible for the existing WeLab Bank Debit card offer, unless otherwise noted.

[6]Other Offer Terms and Conditions:

(a) The Offer cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged, or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified by WeLab Bank.

(b) Unless otherwise specified, you are not entitled to enjoy this Offer if we have opened your WeLab Bank account through other referral programmes or campaigns, and this Offer cannot be used in conjunction with other account opening offers or referral codes. However, you are entitled to enjoy offers for existing WeLab Bank users in conjunction with this Offer.

(c) Your eligibility to participate in this Offer is subject to our final approval at our absolute discretion. Our decision shall be conclusive and binding.

(d) You agree and acknowledge that you are not entitled to receive any cash reward if you close your Core Account at any time before the cash reward is credited into your Core Account.

(e) Any breach of applicable laws or regulations, fraud, abuse and/or non-compliance by you (as determined at our sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of your eligibility to participate in this Offer and/or suspension or termination of all or any of your Account(s) with us. We shall not credit the cash reward or where the cash reward has been credited, we reserve the right to debit the cash reward from your Account(s) (including but not limited to your Core Account) without notice and/or take such necessary legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.

(f) These terms and conditions of this Offer shall be read in connection with our Account Terms. In the event of inconsistency between these terms and conditions of this Offer and the Account Terms, these Offer terms and conditions shall prevail.

(g) Terms defined in our Account Terms shall have the same meanings when used herein, unless otherwise defined.

(h) We reserve the right to suspend, modify or terminate this Offer and/or amend these Offer terms and conditions at any time. In the event of dispute, our decision shall be final, conclusive, and binding.

(i) Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
