Monthly Investment Orders

(1) When does monthly investment take place?If you have setup up the monthly investment order, monthly investment will be conducted on every 8th calendar day of a month*.Before monthly subscription date, we will send out a reminder via app notification, SMS and email for you to keep sufficient balance in your account to facilitate the monthly investment order execution.You will also receive notification by app notification, SMS and email if your monthly investment order of a month has been successfully processed.If your monthly investment order cannot be processed, you will receive relevant notification with an error code# by app notification, SMS and email. We will then attempt to process the monthly investment order two days thereafter*.*If it is not a dealing day or Business Day, it will be handled on the next Business Day.#You may also refer to the following table for relevant follow-up action(s) regarding the error code(s) received:wm_support_en_errorIf we fail to process your monthly investment order three times in the same month, we will stop attempting to process your monthly investment order in that month. You will therefore miss a monthly contribution of your goal under the GoWealth Digital Wealth Advisory Services and this may affect your progress to achieve your goal. So, please make sure you will have enough USD and/or HKD available balance for your monthly investment order.For the avoidance of doubt, if your monthly investment order in a month cannot be processed, we will continue to process your monthly investment order in the next month.The following table illustrates on which calendar day the 1st, 2nd and 3rd attempt for a monthly investment order will take place in 2024:Monthly investment calendar table 2024_ENNote: The table is for reference only and subject to any unexpected ad-hoc event.(2) How do I edit or cancel the monthly investment?You can:
  • For GoWealth Digital Wealth Advisory services: Access “GoWealth” > “Digital Wealth Advisory” tab > existing goal, and click the “Edit” button, then you may adjust the monthly investment amount (Setting it to “$0” will cancel the monthly investment).
  • For Featured Funds services: Access “GoWealth” > “Featured Funds” tab > existing fund holding and click the “Monthly standing instruction” button to adjust the monthly investment amount (Setting it to “$0” will cancel the monthly investment).
If you confirm to edit or cancel your monthly investment at or before 6pm HKT on the calendar day before the 1st attempt of a monthly investment order, your instruction will be effective immediately. Otherwise, your instruction will be effective starting from next month.(3) Can I choose which calendar day to process my monthly investment order?No. Please refer to Question 1 for details.
